Theophile Loranger Cabin, built 1878

Theophile built the log cabin and the family spent  their first winter with a sod roof and dirt floor. 
This cabin still exists; in 1976 is was moved to Memorial Park, Argyle, MN.

Theophile Loranger, Sr. was born April 25, 1844, and died in 1936. He married Angelique Forget on January 7. 1869. Angelique was born May 4. 1849. and died in 1939.

Their children were:

Joseph (born November 10. 1869. married Zephyr Beaudry October 23. 1894. died April 30, 1956),

William (born February 21. 1871. remained single, died in 1956).

Delima (born September 6, 1872. married Victor Goulet November 10, 1896, died in February of 1901).

George "Pete" (born December 10, 1873, married Leontine Forest November 19. 1901. died in 1942),

Their children were: 
Marie, born in 1905 and married lIem Broadwell in 1934, died in 1973: 
George, Jr. was born in 1908 and married Doria Asselin in 1936, died in 1968; 
Joseph Daniel was born in 1911 and married Evelyn Dufault in 1936; 
Edwin was born in 1914 and married Amy' Hamillon in 1937; 
Lucien was born in 1920 and married Lorraine LaBerge in 1944; 
Rose Marie was born in 1925 and married Ivan laBerge in 1944. 
Victor Loranger. son of George, Sr. was born in 1922. He married Betty Lou Harris in 1948.

Their children are: 
Sheila Rae (Mrs. Myron Dargus), 
Curtis (married to Barbara Vaudrin). 
Patricia Lynn (Mrs. Gary Nagle), 
David Victor. 
Vie and Betty own and operate a grocery store in the Argyle Mall.
        

Camille (born June 22. 1876. married Adrienne Forest May 28. 1907. died in 1964),

Clara (born May 2, 1878, married Odilon Forest August 4. 1901. died in 1970).

Edmund (born May 24. 1875, married Cecile Vaillant Rousseau October 6, 1927, died in 1969).

Theophile (born November of 1886, married Grace Lefebvre October 12, 1915, died November 3. 1970),

Viola, bom January 13, 1917 and married Omer Laurin on November 22, 1937 (Omer died November 9, 1967);
 
Cecile, who was born December 6, 1920 and married Rolland Nadeau on June 16, 1941

Orner Eugene was born April 23. 1927 and married Jo Anne White in 1941 (they had one son. David) 
and his second marriage was to Beverly Bates on August 18.1963 (their children were Jill and Joel).
      

Arthur (born August 12, 1890, married Aremline Schiller January 7, 1915, died August 30, 1972),

Emery (born February 23, 1892, married Helen Tatro November 14, 1939, died May 8, 1971).

 

Theophile. Sr. built a log cabin in 1878, and the family spent the first winter with a sod roof and dirt floor. This cabin still exists; in 1976 it was moved into the Argyle Memorial Park.
