Carmen was born Jan 31, 1937 in Warren, Minnesota and Meryl was born April 29, 1932 in Reynolds, North Dakota. We were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks, Minnesota on April 24, 1957. We have three children: Roberta (Nelson) Kovar, Cynthia (Nelson) Twedell and Richard Nelson, all of which live in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. We have six grandchildren; two boys and four girls. Meryl worked for J.C. Penney's and retired in 1994. Carmen was in day care for 30 years and retired in 1999. Both retired and live in town Square Apartments. The last five years, we have been going to Arizona in the winter, and in the summer we try to spend time at Cass Lake. Minnesota.
